CGI Federal and Y Point have teamed up and created a robust and scalable search application for USPTO patent examiners. The on-premise solution offers rapid search capabilities on peta-byte scale patent data, equipping patent examiners with the essential tools to thoroughly search existing patents and technical literature and ensure that the inventions are novel and non-obvious prior to granting any patent.

The application is integrated with legacy systems and adheres to the standards established by the Office of Chief Information Officer (OCIO). Y Point has successfully managed 13 USPTO purchase orders, including EST/2A/4 and MyUSPTO (MPTO) and Alliant-2 since 2015.

MyUSPTO (MPTO) is an innovative platform, available at, developed by CGI Federal in partnership with Y Point. It provides users with an easy and convenient way to manage their intellectual property portfolio and access USPTO services. With MyUSPTO, users can keep track of patent applications and grants, monitor trademark registrations and statuses, and have full control over their IP assets.

The platform integrates with the Assignment Information System (AIS) and features Role-based Access Control (RBAC) to ensure secure access to sensitive information and encourage collaboration among teams. MyUSPTO also includes disaster recovery capabilities, providing additional reliability and security.
